The very purpose of CLEP is to reach to the needy; especially those who can not attend regular classes but are in dire need of earning a college degree. To fulfill the education need of the needy candidates the CLEP is held at three categories of test centers-
Open Test Centers- These centers are open to all and administer CLEP exams on a regular basis.
Limited Test Centers- These centers restrict testing to students admitted to or enrolled at the institution.
Military Friendly Test Centers- These centers are assigned for members of U.S. Armed forces.
